The city of Jerusalem is no exception. Therefore, Hagihon - the local water supplier - in collaboration with the POWER project is searching for inspirations from other places that have successfully implemented projects in the field of sustainable water consumption and conservation.
If you know of a successfully implemented project in the field of sustainable water consumption & conservation, share more about it in the comments below. This way you will nominate it for the POWER Best Practice Award for innovative water sustainability solutions. Nominating a project is simple:
Just go to the comment section below and post a very brief description (2-3 sentances) of the project you are nominating, ideally with a link to its website where more information could be found. You don't need to be part of the project to nominate it for the award. The nominated project can be from any European city. Don't forget that to nominate, you need to be registered to the platform.
Deadline for nominating a project is September 1st, 2019.
By nominating a project for the POWER Best Practice Award, you are contributing to the establishment of a Europe-wide database of water sustainability practices. After the end of the nomination phase, the POWER jury of innovation, water and sustainability experts will select the top three nominated projects that will win the POWER Best Practice Award. The three award winners will have the chance to present their projects in front of a high-level international audience of water experts and municipal representatives at the POWER conference in Brussels between October 9-10, 2019.
If your nomination makes it among the 10 most popular ones, you will get one of the 10 interactive DROP! water games that help you learn about water sustainability in a funny, engaging and visually appealing way.
For the nomination to become popular, please share the link to your nomination comment in your personal network and ask your friends to like it and reply to it. Keep it mind that this will also help the project you are nominating - the POWER jury will take into account the ammount of support (comments and likes) that a nomination gained.
